There is no quality control for the products

I ordered replacement cartridges for my HP Officejet Pro 8720. The total price was 58,88 euros. This is cheap when compared to the retail price of HP original cartridges of 140 euros in my country. But I did not expect that I receive the products with quality issues. One of the cartridges was not detected by my printer at all and the cartridge connector in one of them was assembled wrongly and damaged the printhead connector. I had to remove the printhead and luckily I was able to repair the connector. So, I received 4 cartridges out of which 2 did not function and in addition damaged my printer. I say there is no quality control for these products. So, you take the risk. This is unfortunate because in my case I had to wait for additional 3 weeks to get new replacement cartridges from ABCtoner.de before I could verify that my printhead still worked. So I was without printer overall 6 weeks. I also bought original HP cartridges because I was not sure if the new replacement cartridges will work. So overall this episode cost me almost 200 euros and a lot of hours.
