I had some hesitation to order from Germany since I live in the US and had neer bought cookware from another country online.
A quick e-mail to Benjamin (and many great reviews on the US site Chowhound.com) quickly assuaged my fears. Benjamin was a joy to work with and answered my queries within minutes. That guy must work 24 hours, every day!
I am so happy with the Demeyere skillet and lid, and stockpot, that I bought. Shipping was quick and items were beautifully packaged. If you live in the US, the prices at Berondi represent a tremendous bargain over those at US retailers including Sur La Table. And the refund of the VAT tax cancels out the shipping charges. When I need another Demeyere, STaub or other upscale brand in cookware, I will be sure to head straight for Berondi.de. Highest recommendation.
