I live in Canada and I love to bake for the whole family of 5.
We have had several times where we found plastic in the bought flour. So we decided to buy a mill and mill the flour for ourselves.
Best decision we made. From the first contact with Salzburger getreidemuehlen up to the delivery all went well. We have been using the mill for two months now and we are very happy. The flexibility it gives to have all different kernels and choose for every baking project what kernels we want and how fine we want it ground makes a huge difference in creativity. Also after the fresh milled flour is used, you really can taste the difference in the baked goods. There is no comparison.
We were also very happy that all is made in Austria and Germany and all materials used are natural.
