Love my new Salzburger Flockenmeister

The reason why I purchased the Flockenmeister was to have the freshest flocked oats every morning, keeping the oat groats intact until just before preparing them. The flocker arrived from Austria well packed in a very sturdy box and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks on the counter. The wood is very fine and the round hopper is gorgeous. The flocked oats are a very nice texture, somewhere between commercial flaked/rolled oats and steel cut. We have used them for overnight Muesli, Fresh Porridge, and Apple Crisp. The texture is amazing every time. The cranking mechanism is very smooth, very few cranks and you have enough oats for breakfast.
