Elvis Presley - USA Singles Collection 1954 - 1962 Plus Bonus EP'S
If you like Elvis Presley, than you will like this cd. There is 92 songs on four cd's and you will hear his early voice from 1954 all the way up to 1962. They are all songs that were released in the united states.

BCD16842 The Outtakes (6-CD Mini Deluxe Box Set) Gene Vincent

Cozy Inn by Leon McAuliffe
Leon McAuliffe joined Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys where he was credited with being a co-writer of the western swing classic San Antonio Rose. He was also famous for his own Steel Guitar Rag. Following his tenure in Bob Wills' band he headlined his own releases in the western swing genre, that unique combination of country & western and the big band style of the forties. His playing is credited with inspiring the rhythm and blues electric guitar style of some twenty years later
The tracks here come from 1958 to 1965 when western swing was out of favour with the record buying public. I can honestly say that this release is the best that I have bought for quite some time. It really is the disc you need to briighten your mood and get your foot tapping. The best descprition of the style is a mix of honky-tonk country and light hearted rock and roll. Some will be very familiar, such as Bobby Day's hit Rockin' Robin ( later covered by Michael Jackson), Louis Jordan's Choo Choo Cha Boogie, Green Door associated with Frankie Vaughan or Shakin' Stevens in the UK or Jim Lowe & The High Fives in the USA, the Wilbert Harrison hit Kansas City is included too, lots of instrumentals & the lovely Primrose Lane
Bear Family are renowned for sparing no effort in producing some of the best sleeve notes and cover art available and this is no exception. Sound quality is superb and with a generous playing time of over 70 minutes I cannot recommend it highly enough .

Note on reviews
  • Authenticity of Reviews

Reviews are not transaction-verified before posting; unverified entries may thus come from non-customers. However, AUSGEZEICHNET.org uses a 'Verified' label for reviews triggered by company invitations (e.g., via Review Collector) or validated through manual evidence checks by our team.

  • All-in-One Function (External Review Portals)

Due to the technical framework and the frequency of updates for the aggregation of data from third-party sites, discrepancies may occur between the values displayed on AUSGEZEICHNET.org and the values on the respective third-party sites. It is therefore recommended to visit the corresponding portals directly for the most current data.

  • Display of Reviews

If reviews from other portals are displayed, the overall average refers to the sum of the reviews on AUSGEZEICHNET.org and those from the other portals, which are transparently disclosed. The average rating in the box on the right-hand side, however, refers exclusively to the reviews submitted on AUSGEZEICHNET.org.
