Highly recommended!
I received my Staub Cocotte pot today, and I'm very happy with the quality and packaging of the product! It was an international shipment to Dubai during the pandemic, so it took longer than expected but Benjamin was friendly and prompt with his email replies. Very reliable, easy payment through Amazon and I would definitely recommend berondi to any cooking enthusiasts!

Took awhile
About 6 weeks from order to receipt. But given the pandemic it's hard to rate shipping speed. What is easier to rate is the shipping itself. Very convoluted. Dhl has more than one shipping service and one can't give information on the other as I found out. After exiting US Customs the knife went to a forwarding service who sent it to Fedex who sent it to the US Post Office who finally delivered the knife. Once in the US, could not track the knife until FedEx had it. After it went to the Post Office it was back in the black hole.

That said, like all Twin Star knives a great piece of cutlery.

I am very pleased with the product,service & packaging.
It may cost more but may I suggest you offer an optional shipping method.
I am not aware of the postal reputation in Germany, but in Canada it is abysmal. I observed through tracking that this item was misdirected after arriving in Canada, & took 2 weeks to arrive in Lethbridge. Then it was misdirected here in my city. I received notice that the package was delivered,,, but not to my residence. The only reason I ended up with the package is because the recipient went to extended trouble contacting me. After I contacted the post office they only offered defencive excuses, platitudes & the attitude that reaffirmed my concern with their incompetence.

I apologize for the issues you faced with DHL which is really unusual. We work with them for 12 years and hardly faced any isses with them - also not in Canada. We never had an experience comparible to what you described. Eventually the Corona crisis influenced their processes these days which is not an excuse and it should not have happened. very happy with my new Demeyere cookware!
I recently ordered new Demeyere cookware from Berondi because they had glass lids for the 12.5 inch skillet, something I couldn't find anywhere in the US. It took about three to four weeks to receive my order, which is pretty fast considering it was coming from so far away. A Berondi associate checked in with me a couple of times while I was waiting for the order to arrive, and when it did arrive everything was in perfect condition!

Reliable Company for Upscale Kitchen Products
I am from the US and bought from Berondi 2x already. Discovered them through cooking afficionados in Chowhound. Some Chowhound afficionados previously expressed high satisfaction with this supplier's ability to deliver products in excellent condition, so decided to give them a try. Since then, I have bought a total of 2x already (both Demeyere items), and the communication and delivery have been both quite satisfactory.

Please note that the shipping and delivery for international items, though, will take about a month. It only takes a few days for the items to arrive in the US (from Germany) but the items get stuck in US Customs for processing for 2-3 weeks. As such, try to allocate a 1 month leadtime for shipping and delivery in total.
I also try to buy more than 1 item to make the USD30 shipping more worth it. US buyers do not pay EU taxes, so whatever savings you incur from buying from Berondi is rechanelled to the USD30 shipping cost.

Overall, Berondi is my go-to online retailer for Demeyere products that are not sold in the US. They also have a lot of Demeyere products that are cheaper there versus what are offered by US retailers, so they come highly recommended.

OMG, fast delivery, reasonable prices
I surfed though the interned and could not find better price on the pan that I wanted. As to the delivery, my order was delivered in a few days. The package was huge to prevent any damages during transportation.

If you are still thinking to buy at Berlondi, do not hesitate, just do it :)
